Our studio’s annual holiday card is theme-driven. The story, recipe and design are inspired by the myriad of end-of-the-year celebrations to be found around the world. From the gifting and ritual of tamale-making in Mexico through the movie and Chinese take-out tradition in which American Jews participate. The card creates an experience in which the viewer is transported, enchanted, and offered tools to deeply connect to the content.
The highly anticipated delivery have become collector items, saved year-to-year. For 2021 we upped the ante with one theme and 12 expressions [→], 2022 interrogated the Italian goddess-crone, gift-giving witch La Befana [→], We also have a select archive from years past [→].

The Moment is a publication from Boketto Wellness. Designed and Edited by Jennifer Elsner of Viewers Like You, each issue interrogates a single word, by a coterie of humans, through various mediums.
A beautiful, ephemeral, non-commercial generous meditation on the moment, The Moment is a value-added perk for the Boketto Community— there are no ads or promotions— rather, it’s a creative outlet for Boketto and an opportunity to share the subtle values of well-being: art, intellect, emotion, humanity, passion, and compassion. A laboratory is loosely defined as a facility that provides a place for research, experimentation, and discovery. With the founder of Boketto Wellness and a small coterie of plant-savvy formulators, we created Boketto LAB— not as a place, but as a conceptual line of products to create unique and intentional tools. Viewers Like You began by building a logo and logomark… and were also asked to name the studio. The brief for all was clear, he wanted something Industrial, but mid-century modern industrial, not 1980s music kind.
The name, PeterWerks, was inspired by the German word for a room or building, especially in a factory, where construction and repairs are carried out: Werkstatt. For the logo and mark, we built upon the German name and looked to the Bauhaus for inspiration. See project…

No, design resolutions are not like children, they are not loved equally by their parents. Some are better than others, even if they all work/look/feel darn good. This logo design project went through 3 names, each delivering delight— culminating in a crown jewel. See project…
